圆魄上寒空，皆言四海同。

安知千里外，不有雨兼风。

 

Mid-Autumn Moon by Li jiao (Tang Dynasty)

 

The round moon ascends to the clear cold sky,

All say it’s beheld by the four seas ‘eye.

But who could tell, beyond myriad miles,

Where it may not rain, yet wind rises high.
