謁司馬遷墓 – （清）王增琪

 

生前奇氣難埋沒，穿塚長松百尺斜。

兩漢而還誰作者，六經以後此名家。

黃河注海波蘭闊，太華參天日月遮。

留得雄文共欣賞，冤沉蠶室莫咨嗟。

Nobody can entomb his stalwart spirits rare,

E’en giant pines stand by with a deferential air.

Who else could rival him from East Han to West Han?

Post-Six-Classics, he was the best with unique flair.

Mother River plunges into the sea, waves so vast,

Mt. Hua towers to eclipse the sun and moon’s glare.

O, lament not for that bloody barbaric cell,

With posterities his great works remain to share.
