小滿夜雨 – 孟朝崗

 

村田麥欲煙，新雨亂清瀾。

布穀啼深樹，蛙喑風復寒。

 

Night Rain on Xiaoman by Meng Chaogang

 

As the sun simmers in the fields of grain,

Here comes the new calm water rippling rain.

Cuckoos cry deep in the dense wood of trees,

Frogs fall silent as cold winds rise again.
