贈藥山高僧惟儼 二首 – （唐）李翱

 

其二

選得幽居愜野情，終年無送亦無迎。

有時直上孤峯頂，月下披雲嘯一聲。

 

A Quatrain by Li Ao (Tang dynasty)

 

He opts for this secluded and tranquil abode,

Having no guests coming or leaving such a load.

So carefree, quite oft climbing to the mountaintop,

Neath the moon, clad in clouds, he’d let his shouts explode.
