暮江吟 – 白居易

一道残阳铺水中，半江瑟瑟半江红。
可怜九月初三夜，露似真珠月似弓。

A Quatrain by Bai Juyi

 

A ray of sunset dips in to divide

The river into half red and half green.

The third night of the ninth moon is thus eyed,

Dew like pearls, the moon a bow, what a scene!
