早上出門，我都要戴上

花了好幾千塊錢

作的一副假牙

 

這麼做，無非是為了

遇到有人說假話時

和他對答

 

回到家，第一時間把它

摘下，放進牙具盒裏，洗洗

說謊話一整天

真有些心虛

 

也無非想讓它，清醒一下

擔心它夢裏

說起假話

Only so I feel sure

If I stumble upon those skilled in lies —

Tit-for-tat, I echo such a boor...

 

On entering my house each night

I dip my teeth in the case to cleanse —

After a day of false words, we share a sorry plight ...

 

I hope they sober up from such a spell

For I fear, in dreams,

True lies they will tell...
