善学者，师逸而功倍，又从而庸之；

不善学者，师勤而功半，又从而怨之。

Receptive minds halve the teacher’s toil, double the learning, and raise his fame;
Unreceptive minds double the teacher’s toil, halve the learning, and soil his name.
