流水淘沙不暂停，前波未灭后波生。

令人忽忆潇湘渚，回唱迎神三两声。

The stream scours, sieves, and sifts the sand sans stop,

The rear waves rise up ere foremost ones drop.

Anon, days on Xiao Xiang isles I recall —

The Song of Greeting Gods, echoes atop...
