切切秋虫万古情,灯前山鬼泪纵横。
鉴湖春好无人赋,岸夹桃花锦浪生。

The autumn cricket chirps — his aeon-echoed woe,
Afore the lamp, the mountain ghost lets his tears flow.
The spring-kissed Mirror Lake, no fairy lines to praise
But “peach-embraced banks, petal-silken ripples glow”.
