夜箏 – 白居易

紫袖红弦明月中，自弹自感暗低容。
弦凝指咽声停处，别有深情一万重。

Beneath the shining moon, purple sleeves, crimson strings,

She is lost in her tune — to her brows deep frown clings。

Ere long her fingers falter on the chord — all hushed —

Unfathomable feelings the blue silence brings.
