金入洪炉不厌频，精真那计受纤尘。

苏门果有忠臣在，肯放坡诗百态新？

 

A Quatrain by Yuan Hao-wen (Jin Dynasty)

 

No matter how oft through fire, gold still gold,

No blemish may true exquisite things hold.

Fie, if Su School still holds its loyal hearts,

How could they let myriads of bold styles unfold?
