月到天心处，风来水面时。

一般清意味，料得少人知。

 

Chant of Serene Night by Shao Yong

 

The moon ascends to heaven’s heart,

The breeze glides o’er the silver stream.

A kindred hush they both impart —

Too serene for most minds to deem.
