七絕《野艸》— 金咸樞

 

惯經踩踏草根莖，

野火春風又復萌。

扭曲從來是常态，

千年不死度苍生。

 

Wild Grass by Jin Xian-shu

 

Though long trodden, its roots still grip the land,

Wildfire, wild, wild, yet breeze lifts it, grace grand.

Twisted, or bent, such trials it weathers —

Enduring ages, unyielding its stand.
