初春 – 郭平印

 

亂鳥爭枝鬧曉寒，晨曦乍洩小橋欄。

玉蘭噙露半開蕾，帶怯含羞意萬千。

 

Early Spring by Guo Pingyin

 

Birds clamour o’er twigs, stirring the peace of chill dawn,

The first light pours over the bridge’s rail like a shawl. 

Holding dewdrops, Magnolias half-bud like a yawn,

So bashful, with myriad deep meanings, untold to all.
