古木阴中系短篷，

杖藜扶我过桥东。

沾衣欲湿杏花雨，

吹面不寒杨柳风。

V1.

I moor beneath the shade of an old tree,

Eastward, athwart the bridge, my cane helps me.

The apricot-loving rain damps my robe,

The willowy breeze warms my cheeks with glee.

 

V2.

I moor beneath the shade of many ancient trees,

Eastward, athwart the bridge, my cane helps me with ease

The apricot-loving rain kisses my long robe,

The willowy breeze strokes my cheeks in a warm tease.
