不阿世，不颂圣

当今之世

不绝于耳歌德声

谁秉承遗风

 

The Style of Sima Qian

 

I pine for the Grand Historian

Who kowtowed not to mundane creeds,

Nor ever extoled a liege lord.

In this modern world adored,

Flattering din haunts every ear, never recedes...

Who carries on the Style of Sima Qian?
