博未修成蔓雑蕪

昏花老眼辨遺珠

詩窮意盡惟工巧

絕技雕蟲一世輸

My learning broadens not, but like weeds that grow rife,

And aged vision dims when I seek gems through strife.

The well of poetic inspiration runs dry,

The craft of verse is but a vainglory in life.
