岁去人头白，

秋来树叶黄。

搔头向黄叶，

与尔共悲伤。

 

Autumn Lament

The time doth fly and grey my hair,

The leaves wilt in the autumn air,

Which I face as I scratch my head,

"Methinks the woe we have to share."
