《相见欢》- 李煜
林花谢了春红,
太匆匆。
无奈朝来寒雨晚来风。
胭脂泪,
相留醉,
几时重。
自是人生长恨水长东。
A Verse By Li Yu
(To the Tune of Joyful Tryst)
The wood's vernal reds pine away,
All gone without delay,
As cold rains at dawn and gusts at dusk do them slay.
Thy every rouged tear-stain
Captivateth me with pain,
When 'gain is our tryst-day?
Ah, life’s grief goth on like waters eastbound ne’er stay.
The wood’s vernal reds wane
Forthwith, which none could retain
Oh, slain by the dusk gust and cold dawn rain
Thy every rouged tearstain
Captivates me with pain,
When could we meet again?
Life’s grief sans end like waters flow on east amain
The woods' vernal flowers have lost their red,
So sudden, perdie , tis so dred,
Twas eve gust and morn cold rain that tortured them ded!
Each of their rouged tearstain
Enraptureth me with pain;
Wonder when we'd tryst again...
Ah, sans end, rivers east flow, life doth sad tears shed.
