A Verse by Hu Zhiyu (Yuan dynasty)
(Spring Vista)
A few apricots on the wall look like red snow,
A few blue hills appear above roofs like a screen,
How many bonny days in spring could spring e’er know?
The vista in March so serene,
‘Tis for tiddly eyne, not for the minds overkeen.
