鐘山即事 - 王安石

涧水无声绕竹流，竹西花草弄春柔。
茅檐相对坐终日，一鸟不鸣山更幽。

 

A Quatrain by Wang Anshi

(Inspirations from Mt. Zhongshan)

 

Around the bamboo grove silent winding streams flow,

In the west of the grove, grass soft, spring flowers blow,

Tete-a-tete I sit neath the thatched roof all day long,

The hill would peer serener sans a bird to crow.
