梳洗罢，                                    

独倚望江楼。               

过尽千帆皆不是，      

斜晖脉脉水悠悠，      

肠断白蘋洲。

Arrayed fair, as if ‘twere my chore,

Alone, on the riverside tower, I gaze below,

Of myriad passing sails, none is one I pine for ...

The river flows on, the sun slants low,

O’er Bai Ping Shoal, my heart breaks in woe.
