松下问童子，言师采药去。
只在此山中，云深不知处。

 

Seeking a Sage yet Failing to Meet Him by Jia Dao

 

Neath a pine, a boy tells me when I ask...

“Master’s out to do his herbs-picking task,

He’s in the mountain, as for whereabouts?

I don’t know, for everywhere dense clouds mask.”
