江碧鸟逾白，
山青花欲燃。
今春看又过，
何日是归年。

 

A Five-Character Quatrain by Du Fu

 

The whiter the gulls above the blue deep,

Against the green hills, the blossoms blaze bright.

It looks this spring fades again with a leap,

I wonder when I will head home in flight.
