Lingering vernal zephyr stirs withes with joy,
Along the blossom-clad path, sweet scent seems coy.
Qingming is gone at last,
For no cheer in looking back to enjoy,
To lock my red chamber, it seems clouds’ ploy.
To the orioles’ trill, my siesta awakes,
Where do these spring griefs come in *shakes?
Some from the shadows of willows,
Or some from crab-apple-hemmed lakes,
Or from the apricots’ red heads, some breaks?
