《道中见梅》(宋)蔡戡
篮舆兀兀梦初回,怪底幽香触鼻来。
日暮天寒正愁绝,谁家篱落数枝开。
Chance upon Plum Blossoms
(By Cai Kan, Soong Dynasty)
In the jolting sedan chair, half-roused from my doze,
A subtle scent, unbidden, wafts upon my nose.
As dusk falls, cold descends, and my quiet grief grows
Till an unknown hedge I pass — a few plum blooms pose...
Half-stirred from dream in a jouncing sedan chair —
A subtle scent, unbidden, steals upon the air.
As dusk descends, cold creeps, my quiet grief waxes
Till I pass a hedge and see a few plum blooms flare...
