《竹枝词二首》（其一）－ 刘禹锡

 

杨柳青青江水平，

闻郎江上唱歌声。

东边日出西边雨，

道是无晴却有晴。

 

A Quatrain by Liu Yuxi

 

The willows so green, the river so serene,

Where I hear my swain sing his songs so keen.

“Sunrise in the east; rainfall in the west,

Now it glooms, now it blooms, so unforeseen.”
