中庭淡月照三更，白露洗空河汉明。

莫遣西风吹叶尽，却愁无处著秋声。

 

Autumn Night by Chen Yuyi (Soong Dynasty)

 

The courtyard basks in the soft light of still night moon,

Washing the skies, the dew is a refreshing boon.

Prithee, may west wind shanghai not all leaves away,

For I fear no leaf will sing me an autumn croon.
