枫桥夜泊 – 張繼

 

月落烏跌霜滿天

江楓漁火對愁眠

姑蘇城外寒山寺

夜半鐘聲到客船

 

Mooring at Maple Bridge Tonight by Zhang Ji

 

The moon fades away, crows caw at the frosty sky,

River Maples, fishing fires, in my sleepless eye.

Beyond Gusu town, lies the cold mountain temple,   

Its midnight bell tolls reach my boat from far to nigh.
