澳大利亚国家档案馆有关二战时中国军队战俘在巴新的档案资料

有关太平洋战争期间关押在巴布亚新几内亚新不列颠岛拉包尔（亚包）的中国军队战俘的资料，在澳大利亚国家档案馆里，可以找到一些。前面提到的有关亚包中国军队战争公墓的死歿者档案，就是其中的一种。下面披露的，是与中国战俘相关的档案资料的线索。

需要说明一下，这些资料卷帖繁多，有些看似与之相关，也许包含的是其它的内容。在未有详细阅读并作出正确的判断之前，姑且将其列于此，留待有兴趣的研究者去最终取舍。当然，如有心者愿意涉足这一领域，探讨这些问题，也可与在下联络，看能否有可能共同将这些资料整理出来。

这些档案所涉及的范围主要有：

1、中国军队在新不列颠岛概况

在新不列颠岛的中国军队的人员名单、澳洲支付给这支军队（前日军战俘）的费用、战后占领新不列颠岛的澳洲当局对前战俘的管理等；

2、前中国战俘的个人情况、伤亡及病故登记、疾病预防控制等；
