Groovy Kind of Love

At hospital right now, still waiting for attending to see the patient.

Everybody is looking forward to Thanksgiving, I am not, because I am on call that week. Everybody is looking forward to Christmas, I am not, because I am on call that week.

When I drove to hospital this morning, I feel kind low, because I won't have any weekends until New Year Day. It just seems so far away. Then the radio started playing this song, Phil's voice is very unique, deep, coarse but expressive.  I was the only one driving on the high way at such a dark, chilling Sunday morning, while most people are still in their bed enjoying the warm dream, Phil embraced me with this groovy but sincere song.

5 days off is not as good as it sounds. The 5 days includes a weekend. :) I think I'll just stay home and relax and get organized.

I totally know how you feel. I'm actually feeling the same way myself. I have pretty much been on call for the past 6 weekends. Right now, I actually have two different call schedules I need to follow. I've got my own call schedule given to me by my program and I also have to be on call whenever my primary preceptor is on call. It's just bad all around. And I'm "lucky" enough to be on call on Christmas weekend too. I can't wait for the 5 consecutive days I'm off during New Years. It seems far away for me too.

walmart 工作的人，我想他们大部分是没有周末的，或只有一天周末，可怜只拿大概10元/小时，比比他们，你要笑了。
No perfect job, no perfect life, no perfect house, if everything is perfect, guess it is heaven. We sacrifice too much while living in a country as a foreigner. I am wondering if it is worth since life is so short and thinking if I should enjoy life more rather then making money.

BTW, We met in Chicago Airport in September when you were with your parents.
