Winning the Bidding War for New Year Day Game

Although it’s a big upset to Trojan fans that USC is only playing for the title of the third this year, I am happy to be able to see them play in Rose Bowl locally. Getting tickets a few days before the game is always a challenge. Three years ago when they were playing for the Number One title with the same opponent (Michigan) at Rose Bowl, it cost us a fortune to get two not-so-good seats. So this time we decided to play the bidding game on eBay.

It turned out that the bidding part was just as much fun as going to the game. The closing time for two good seats was Dec-26-06 17:30 PST. Below is the bidding history. We were watching how vpate1311 raising the bid all the way up until 5 hours before the closing time. Then, the last second, bang, we screwed him by 11cents!
