妹妹有点儿懒，平时不见她动笔写东西，也不见她用功做习题。
今天是学校最后一天，发下来了作文本。不看不知道，一看吓了我们一跳，原来厚厚的作文本，200页，前前后后，一页不拉，都是作文。相反，姐姐只写了大约120页，而且是一半是画，一半是作文。
姐姐在一年级，是一个好的漫画家，字也写得很大个，句子写的很短，一篇作文，没有几个句子，功夫都在画中。
妹妹在幼儿班，开始的作文很短，写得不成句子。渐渐的，文章越来越长。字写得小，能写满页的字。内容还没有细看，老婆的评语：章法杂乱。
下面摘选几篇：
一、开学第一篇 （8.12.04）
My name is Jackie. I like to swim。
接下来大约两个月的时间，都象是极简单的日记：今天星期几，我们上什么课，或者去干了什么有趣的事情，下面是简单的配图。
二、火鸡和他的朋友（11.03.04）
Today is Wednesday. We have computer lab.
The turkey is in the tree. He is playing in the tree. He has a friend. He isplaying with his friend.
The turkey is happy, because he has a friend.
十一月份开始写比较完整的段落。例如升国旗呀，去动物园呀，画画呀，感恩节呀等有关的小故事。有时候是同样的主题，反复的练习。十二月份，写下雪、和自己最喜欢的东西。
三、拍老师的马屁（11.23.04）
Today is Tuesday. We have computer lab.
This terrific Tuesday, I love my best teacher, Mrs. Morine. She is so so so so pretty. She is the best teacher. I love Mrs. Morine. I am so so happy.
象这样的拍马之作，不下十余篇。老师也显然吃这一套，高兴得鼻涕泡流了一串又一串，评语也就特别好：Thank you! You are so so nice! You are one of the best students! I think you are the best student!
四、到中国去旅行（2.3.05）
Today is Tuesday. We have music.
One day, I got to a real airplane. I got to China. It was fun and I love China.
从第二年一月十号开始，练习写到日本去，写总统节，写情人节，进展不是很大。但是经过几个月的练习，可以看出，从三月份开始，作文的句式和段落明显的变长，逐渐的就可以叙述比较完整和复杂的故事了。
五、螃蟹的婚礼（5.18.05）
Sonewhere in the ocean there lived a crab. he lived in a cave. The cave was dark. The crab found a girl crab. He wanted to marry the girl crab. So he bought a bounch of flowers.
The crab gave (the flower to) the girl crab and said I want to marry you. The girl crab said just what am thinking. The girl crab and the boy crab loved each other. They both said let's marry each other.
They both said that word. So they married each other.
这样看起来，妹妹在学校的进步，还真的是不小。
