A busy week

It was really a busy week last week.  On Wedenesday afternoon I had to travel with some of my colleagues to Clarksville to attend a workshop on Thursday.  Early in the morning it started to rain really hard. The weather channel announced a flood and tornado watch for the region we were in. I enjoyed a heavy breakfast with two cups of coffe in the Waffle House while watching the rain pouring and the wind blowing the commercial signs in the neighbouring gas station.  But luckily enough when the workshop started around nine am the rain stopped. We had a very informative workshop and learned a great deal about the topic.  In the afternoon we drove home under the shining sun and made a stop in a country store where we had some strawberry dessert and I bougt some presents for my children, a jack-in-the-box for my little one and a magic cube for my older son. They were so happy to see me home with the presents. I was worried about my little baby when leaving for the workshop because that was the first time for him to spend a night without Mommy. It turned out that he adapted to the situation pretty quickly and did not cry at all. I was happy. On Friday afternoon I was on the road again. The whole family went to Memphis for a good friend's wedding on Saturday. (About the wedding I will write more) We did not come back home until yesterday. I feel exhausted.
