蠔田,買蠔,吃生蠔,姜蔥生蠔. "North Highway 1" 一日遊

The last day for 2007, my husband and I went up north on Highway 1 to the farm called Hog Island and brought home some oysters, mussels, and clams. It was well worth the drive from San Jose to Tomales Bay even though it was 2 hours each way. Here are the pictures. If you want the information here is

我們買了50只 Kumamotos,12只small “sweetwater” oyster. 好多亞洲人去買.(the sales lady told us they have a 300 acre oyster farm).

又買多两磅蜆(在外面買吃不到這樣好吃的)

Husband ordered clams chowder (he said mine is much better than theirs) he always have compliment about my cooking ..hahaa

I ordered the sardine, it was good, at least it was nice and hot.

We share 1 dozen oysters



After lunch we took a walk.

新年吃了两日生蠔,第四日要煮熟才吃,husband開生蠔





我做姜蔥生蠔
這个姜蔥生蠔好易做,材料,,,,生蠔,姜,蔥,鹽,(豆粉,水.)mix
把蠔洗淨,鐵鍋下油,炒香姜蔥,大火下蠔,加小小鹽,然后下豆粉水,上碟.
