One of the advantages living in Manhattan is that one can easily access world class restaurants, renowned entertaining spots, aspiring artistic shows, famous boutiques, electrified neighborhoods … Every New Yorker may have his or her favorite joint in this city one way or the other, mine is SoHo district. It attracts me because it offers great experiences from meeting genius people to seeing fine arts, unique design, collectibles, antiques, furniture and fashion. Within 1/4 square mile area one would find over 200 art galleries, about 200 restaurants and bars, and 100 plus retail stores ( some of them are one-of-kind type stores) and four museums. In other words, you may not get bored when you are in
SoHo is located in Lower Manhattan It contained by Houston Street on the north, Canal Street on the south Lafayette Streeton the East and Sixth Ave. on the West. It was a seedy place with cobblestone streets and many warehouses and factories before 1960's. Then many young and struggling artists found out that the cheap rent and high ceiling of building would provide them with art lofts and studios for their work. During 1980’s this oasis was gradually consumed and transformed by commercialism. After 2000
As we all know there is always the best season to visit some place, for example, To get the most for your money we'd visit New England states In autumn as foliage would be about to peak. To enjoy SoHo the best time of the year would be during the Summer Months, the weather is warm and the day is long, exhibit, shops and bars would open late and the streets are flooded with tourists from
During the summer weekend I’d often visited galleries and shops until I’d be tired then I’d choose good restaurants which would have tables set up at side walk to sit down relax, ordering my favorite food and drink . Under softened afternoon sunshine I’d wolf down my meal and watch so many beautiful and sexy girls to pass by. Sometimes I’d feel so surreal as if these attractive girls were the figures stepping down from the photos and canvas at the galleries that I’d just visited minutes ago.
Really appreciate your helpful tips. If you happen to see me there wandering around, give me a holler =)

I was in NYC yesterday, wanted to get to SoHo. Mainly because my cousin likes to wear the Bathing Ape, also because of its reputation as one of the most popular hangouts for young aspiring artists/students/tourists. But it was POURING yesterday, I was soaking wet getting out of the subway. Had to give up the idea and head back home. What a pity.
I'm kicking myself right now reading your article. I should have gone, rain or shine.
落花飘零: What not pay a visit to SoHo when your time permits. You may enjoy it. If you do please wear a pair of comfortable shoes and dark sun glass to watch many handsome GGs there:).
