耶稣不受从人来的荣耀 — 约翰福音读经随笔 第5章

约翰福音第五章第41—44节文士和法利赛人总爱炫耀自己，假冒伪善地显示自己对神有多虔诚，在人前显示自己的荣耀，但耶稣说他不受从人来的荣耀。耶稣知道文士和法利赛人不相信他，知道他们的心里没有神的爱。他们之间相互吹捧，互相受荣耀，却不寻求来自神的荣耀。马太福音第二十三章说文士和法利赛人一切所作的事都是要叫人看见，所以将佩戴的经文做宽了，衣裳的繸子做长了，喜爱筵席上的首座和会堂里的高位，又喜爱人在街市上问他安称呼他老师。然而，耶稣说他不受这些从人来的荣耀。

约5:41 我不受从人来的荣耀。
I don't receive glory from men.
约5:42 但我知道你们心里、没有 神的爱。
But I know you, that you don't have God's love in yourselves.
约5:43 我奉我父的名来、你们并不接待我．若有别人奉自己的名来、你们倒要接待他。
I have come in my Father's name, and you don't receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
约5:44 你们互相受荣耀、却不求从独一之 神来的荣耀、怎能信我呢。
How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don't seek the glory that comes from the only God?
太23:5 他们一切所作的事、都是要叫人看见．所以将佩戴的经文做宽了、衣裳的繸子做长了．
But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad, enlarge the fringes of their garments,
太23:6 喜爱筵席上的首座、会堂里的高位．
and love the place of honor at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,
太23:7 又喜爱人在街市上问他安、称呼他拉比。〔拉比就是夫子〕
the salutations in the marketplaces, and to be called 'Rabbi, Rabbi' by men.
