照你的信心给你成全了 — 马太福音读经随笔 第8章

马太福音第八章第5—13节，一个百夫长求耶稣医治他一个瘫痪的仆人。百夫长说“主阿，你到我舍下我不敢当。只要你说一句话，我的仆人就必好了”。耶稣听后很惊讶，就夸赞说“我实在告诉你们，这么大的信心，就是在以色列中我也没有遇见过”。于是耶稣对百夫长说“你回去吧，照你的信心给你成全了。那时他的仆人就好了”。我发现这个地方是信心这个词第一次出现在和合本圣经中。罗马书说信心是神所给，且当一直吃耶稣的粮的时候，信心就会增长，此乃圣灵的果子之一。

太8:5 耶稣进了迦百农、有一个百夫长进前来、求他说、
When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him,
太8:6 主阿、我的仆人害瘫痪病、躺在家里、甚是疼苦。
and saying, "Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented."
太8:7 耶稣说、我去医治他。
Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."
太8:8 百夫长回答说、主阿、你到我舍下、我不敢当．只要你说一句话、我的仆人就必好了。
The centurion answered, "Lord, I'm not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
太8:9 因为我在人的权下、也有兵在我以下．对这个说、去、他就去．对那个说、来、他就来．对我的仆人说、你作这事、他就去作。
For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and tell another, 'Come,' and he comes; and tell my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
太8:10 耶稣听见就希奇、对跟从的人说、我实在告诉你们、这么大的信心、就是在以色列中、我也没有遇见过。
When Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to those who followed, "Most certainly I tell you, I haven't found so great a faith, not even in Israel.
太8:13 耶稣对百夫长说、你回去吧．照你的信心、给你成全了。那时、他的仆人就好了。
Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed." His servant was healed in that hour.
罗12:3 我凭着所赐我的恩、对你们各人说、不要看自己过于所当看的．要照着神所分给各人信心的大小、看得合乎中道。
For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
提前1:14 并且我主的恩是格外丰盛、使我在基督耶稣里有信心和爱心。
The grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
彼后1:1 作耶稣基督仆人和使徒的西门彼得、写信给那因我们的神和〔有古卷无和字〕救主耶稣基督之义、与我们同得一样宝贵信心的人．
Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained a like precious faith with us in the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ:
帖后1:3 弟兄们、我们该为你们常常感谢神、这本是合宜的．因你们的信心格外增长、并且你们众人彼此相爱的心也都充足．
We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you towards one another abounds;
加5:22 圣灵所结的果子、就是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,
