孤独如风-第二十章

Stanley绕回到办公桌后，拉开一个抽屉，在里面按下了一个按钮。办公室的一面墙体从中间缓缓的裂开了，一个巨大的液晶屏从墙内推出。他从抽屉里拿出一个遥控器按下了播放键，液晶屏上开始出现了画面，画面里显示的正是Cathy家的客厅。客厅里有两个人，一男一女，女的是Cathy，而男的竟是刘风。画面里的两人坐在沙发上说着话，逐渐的，刘风慢慢靠近Cathy，两个人吻到了一起。Stanley又按了一下遥控器，画面停止了。他转头看着Cathy微笑着道：I think this can remind you of something.(我想，这会让你想起什么)

Cathy的脸色变得绯红，半晌说不出话来。继而她愤怒的说道：How dare you……（你怎么敢）

Stanley道：Personally ,I totally understand you and what you have done. But for your husband ,I do not think so. I believe you do not want him to know about this, do you?（从我个人角度而言，我非常理解你和你所做的一切。但是，我觉得你的丈夫不会。我相信你并不想让他知道这一切，对吧）

Cathy把头扭向别处，握紧了手里的茶杯一言不发。

Stanley继续道：Well. Let’s help each other. We can make a deal. You persuade your husband to change his political opinion and I will destroy all of the record. I can even let this guy disappear entirely from the earth.（好吧。让我们彼此帮个忙。咱们可以达成一个协议。你说服你的丈夫转换他的政治观点，而我会把录像全部销毁。我甚至可以让这个家伙从地球上永远消失）

说着，他用遥控器指了指显示器上的刘风。

听到这话，Cathy转过头来看着Stanley惊慌的说道：No, don’t hurt him please.（不，请不要伤害他）

Stanley道：Alright. It is up to you, honey. Now we got a deal ,right?（好啊。这都由你决定。现在我们达成协议了，对吧）

Cathy低下了头不再说话。

Stanley走到她身旁轻抚着她的肩头道:I hope you understand what we have done is for Canada.（我希望你能理解，我们所做的一切都是为了加拿大）

Cathy仰头看着他，嘴角露出嘲讽的微笑道：Oh ,yeah? By peeping people in their home and killing people on the street?（哦，是吗？通过偷窥人们的隐私和在大街上杀害人们）

Stanley丝毫没有生气：Honey, you are still too young. Sometimes, sacrifice is necessary to achieve a great aim.（亲爱的，你还是太年轻。有些时候，为了实现一个伟大的目标，牺牲是必须的）

Cathy道：What is your great aim then?（那么你的伟大的目标是什么）

Stanley道:You believe in God ,right. You must have read the bible and that is why you prepared so many food and water in your basement. The end of the world is coming and look at this country. It is full of heathens, homosexuality and addicts. You should not give a driver license to a teenager but how come you give the democracy to those guys who even can not plan their own lives to let them decide the destination of the whole country? Ridiculous , isn’t it? Now what we are doing is to change this. We are gonna set up a new order in Canada. It is my hometown and your kid’s hometown. You do not want to see it is destroyed ,do you?（你信仰上帝，对吧。你一定读过圣经，这也是为什么你会在你家的地下室里准备这么多的食品和水。世界末日正在来临。看看这个国家。她充满了异教徒、同性恋和瘾君子。你不能给一个孩子发驾照，但是你怎么能够赋予权利给那些连自己的生活都无法规划好的人们，让他们来决定整个国家的命运。很荒谬，不是吗？现在我们在做的一切就是要改变这些。我们要在加拿大建立新的秩序。这里是我的家乡，是你的孩子的家乡。你不想看到她被毁掉，对吧）

Cathy不再说什么，只是低头看着手里的茶杯。Stanley又轻轻拍了拍她的肩头道：I think you are tired. You should have a good rest. Don’t worry, honey. Your husband will recover soon and you can go to see your kid now.（我想，你有点累了。你应该好好休息一下。别担心，亲爱的。你的丈夫很快就会复原。你现在可以去看你的孩子了）

说着，他按了一下办公桌上的电话按钮，办公室的门开了，一位女秘书走进办公室。

Stanley指了指Cathy道：Please take my friend to her room and bring her son to her.（请把我的朋友带到她的房间里，把她的儿子领给她）

Cathy木然的站起来，跟着女秘书离开了办公室。Stanley目送她们离去后，转身回到办公桌前，从口袋里掏出一块白手帕，包着桌上的那把CZ75手枪，放进了办公桌的抽屉里。
