So, you have called yourself illegal immigrant? You are not, you are out of status. You should classify yourself correctly.

Right now, you should find a very good immigration lawyer. You donot have to sue Dr. Wu in order to get a U visa.

You can go to a psychiatrist/clinical psychologist which your lawyer can recommend for you because they do this all the time (I think personal injury laws). That person can assess your psychological injuries pre and post abuse. You in fact do not need a police report although police report would be helpful. The report from the doctor costs about 1000 to 3000 dollars.

You should also go to a counselor regularly to establish your evidence of being traumatized by this ordeal. This could serve as records.

So at the end, you should try to find the best immigration lawyer you can find. Since Athens is a small place, you need to go to Chicago, or New York or some places where there is a high concentrated immigrant population. I do not recommend Chinese immigration lawyers. They are not very good at fighting this kind of U visas. You should look for an American, or Jewish lawyer.

In order for you to do that, you may need to move from Athens so that you can find a good lawyer. Because immigration laws are federal laws and immigration is handled by federal courts, you can move to any state.

Also, to come up with legal fees, you may need to work to come up with fees.

P.S., I also think you are running the risk of being counter-sued with STALKING if you do not leave that place.
