Today it's Nov. 8,2018, I was cruising on the YouTube, found this movie. The story I have loved very much when I was middle high school boy of 13 or 14, In Tokyo Japan, Mark Twain's story translated into Japanese. I laughed, read again, and laugh again so many times. and somehow forgotten the book or the story. I did not know the story became the movie. After 70 years later, in the USA where I live now, found the movie which I did not know it's exist. It's a joy to go back to this Old humor story by Twain. I am having a happy day?
i saw this film in the UK when I was just 14 years of age and thought it was a great movie. Unfortunately gone are the days when they made movies like this, just straight , clean family movies and no torrid sex scenes. Gregory Peck was indeed a truly great actor and his movies were always great too. I can truly say, those were the good old days as far as movie making was concerned.
