性格自认属于浪漫独特的女兵刘的一些感慨---日记 2/21/09

我很喜欢读《从圣经看如何认识和提升自己》这本书，它的作者是香港的邝炳钊博士。

 

邝博士，曾获香港建道神学院学士，美国哥顿大学文学士，英国伦敦大学法律学士，香港大学法律深造文凭，美国惠敦大学文学硕士，美国布蓝代斯大学博士等等许多学位。

 

我非常喜欢读他的书。

 

在这本书中，邝博士指出人的性格大约分为十种：

 

— 追求完美

 

二 热心助人

 

三 渴求成就

 

四 浪漫独特

 

五 善于观察

 

六 忠诚可靠

 

七 乐观快乐

 

八 天生领袖

 

九 和平平稳

 

十 完美无瑕

 

我自认为是浪漫独特的第四种。朋友，你是那一种性格？让我们来看一看何为第四型：

 

这种性格的人喜欢表露真我，我追求真我。很有个性，也享受孤独。不着意掩饰和压抑情绪，容易哭和笑，尤其是哭，感情很强烈，情绪多变不时感到沮丧。

 

他们感觉敏锐，常常被美，爱，忧伤，痛苦的悲情所感动。他们相信自己的直觉，浪漫，爱幻想，创作力丰富，灵感源泉涌溢。

 

第四型的人除了用说话去表达个人的感受，艺术是另一种表达感情的渠道。他们热爱大自然，参加音乐，文化和艺术活动。不少第四型的人是艺术家。若他们不是专业的艺术家，也会有良好的鉴赏力，被美的东西深深吸引，因为美的东西象征了一切感觉的升华，包含真理和善良。他们借着追求真，善，美，来赶走内心的空虚。

 

不少第四型的人很想了解自己，也想被别人了解，但是没有兴趣去了解别人；他们不断希望找到自己的特色，以及最能表达自己的方式。他们具有高度的创造力，喜欢用象征去表达事物，也留意自己所作的梦。

 

圣经中，约瑟被哥哥们妒忌，因为他与众不同，穿上独有的彩衣。他梦见自己鹤立鸡群，超越家人。他在波提乏家中和监狱里都享有特殊的地位，以及善于解梦，这都让人想起第四型的人。

书拉密女和良人都把对方描写的完美无瑕，这是第四型人对爱人的想象。

 

当我写出自己人生中最黑暗，最痛苦的经历时，很奇妙的，神的医治的大能就临到我，让我感到无比的释放与轻松。

 

 

就象 Col. Glave, who is in charge of the Veteran Affaire Department located in downtown San Jose， said，“Sweet Heart， it is the best when you write down your sufferings and pain and bear God's true witness to the people, and then you will feel relieved, that is right way to get healed, and not to hide all your pains and don't tell anyone. You will never get well that way." 

 

"Yes, sir, well put, sir!" I shouted onto the receiver, jokingly, just like when I was a soldier at Fort Jackson. In the army, a private has to solute all officers, esp a Col. Glave.

 

"and I salute you, sir! If I see you in person, sir, I will have to be in an Attention position and show my respect to you, sir."

 

Col. Glave laughed, "That's the good soldier, young lady."

 

He is a true gentleman and an officer, and I admire and respect him. He is 83 years old, he told me. And he is a very caring dignified man. I was amazed by the love and concern he has shown to me, an injured, broken, 41 year old Chinese female discharged soldier.

 

"How about working as an Army reservist under my command for a couple of days per month, young lady, so you can wear your ACU and Class A uniform again?" He suggested a few days ago on the phone.

 

Wow, now that is a big decision for me. "I will definitely think about it seriously, sir. And discuss it with my family, sir. And I thank you sir, for everything. Why you are so good to me?" I asked finally.

 

"Well, let me put it this way, soldier, I just wanted to wake up every morning and be a happy man." Col. Glave said.

 

What another angel that God sent to me. I was speechless by God's grace shown to me.

 

是的，我是多么的满心欢喜快乐，VA 的官员也没有对我置之不理，反而伸出热情的双手。

 

我永远忘不了 Col. Glave 说的，

 

“Remember, young lady, when you were enlisted, you laid down your life to your country, and now you were injured both physically and mentally, the country won't forget that, and we will try our best to restore you and help you, the country owes you for your sacrifice."

 

I am really impressed by his words.

 

记得2006年的圣诞节，我身穿军装去参加一个朋友聚会，一位朋友走过来，问我，“你参军有什么好处吗，还受了伤，值吗？”

 

“对不起，我与你没什么好说的，我不知道如何回答你。” 他可能感觉 embarrassed by my remarks, but I don't care.

 

What kind of question is that? I don't ask for anything for the US government, when I joined in. I just thought to make myself useful and contribute to my country. And not to gain the so called "什么好处'".

 

Please support our troops! Pray for their safety and pray for their loved ones. Now President Obama just ordered to send 17,000 troops to deploy to Afganistan. I am thinking, my battle buddies who were together with me at Fort Jackson for BCT in 2006, some of them might have already received the order to ship there.

 

I could only pray to God for their safty now!
