提笔踌躇略有思，

画成便是韵成时。

拈来千古鸟虫字，

东倒西歪随意题。

Brush in hand, I halted with some thought,
Yet once drawn, the poetic rhythm is already caught.
These ancient bird-and-worm seal-like signs I picked,
Scrawled askew and slanted, as I please to script.
