柠檬洋葱烤鸡晚餐 - Lemon and Onion Roasted Chicken Dinner
我家院里一年四季都有, rosemary, sage, oregano, 柠檬, 用它们烤鸡很香, Costco的甜洋葱也是一袋一袋地买, 这些东西多吃总是好的.

鸡用大量盐和胡椒里里外外都抹上, 冰箱过夜, 第二天洗净, 擦干,
烤盘底上垫洋葱片, 鸡外面抹上橄榄油, 盐和胡椒, 挤上柠檬汁,
肚子里塞进以上香料, 和一个切半的柠檬, 绑好腿, 放在洋葱片上, 鸡的皮上盖上柠檬片, 进预热 400F的烤箱烤1.5 小时. 取出后歇10分钟再切块, 撒欧芹碎就好了.
鸡肉很嫩很细, 很有水份,很有味道.

每次用烤箱我都会充分利用, 用同烤箱烤一个蔬菜, 这样就不用在炉子上忙啦,
把冰箱里的蔬菜找来, 切片, 拌橄榄油, 盐和胡椒, Rosemary, 蒜粒, 最后 20分钟放进去一起烤, 鸡好了,菜也好了.

面包机版酸面包- light sourdough bread
我的面包机可以做酸面包, 味道也很不错, 就是要两道程序, 先用面包机做酸引子, 然后再做面包. 我觉得也可以用别的面包机做, 只是酸引子在外面发酵 再用它做面包.

把香料,蒜粒,盐, 在石盅(mortar and pestle)略捣一捣把香味放出来,再加油和醋.

饭后甜点 - 锅烙苹果派
12”铸铁锅里放一杯糖, 6 TB 黄油烧化, 加入约4LB 苹果块, 我没削皮, 趁机给孩子们吃多点纤维, 如果讲究一点, 该削掉皮, 把苹果拌匀, 在锅里烧一段时间, 糖跟黄油有点焦香, 熄火,
用一快买的派皮盖上苹果, 刷上蛋液, 撒上粗糖, 用刀在皮上画几道好透气, 进375F烤箱, 烤20-25分钟, 表面金黄就好了. 跟冰其淋吃最好, 我没有了, 用了罐装的鲜奶油,
