For the whole day, SPX/NDX are very strong!
SPX/NDX broke out twice intra-daily after a strong narrow range consolidation with closing +11/17 at 1007/1614.
Well, NDX momentum came from GOOD upgrade made by GS. GOOG surged 16.44 to 460.41 with volume 4M doubling the average. The rise was accompanied by QCOM+1.37=47.09 and CSCO+0.65=21.89 while all others such as MSFT/AAPL/SBUX/AMGN were about flat. AAPL/SBUX/MSFT went up in a straight row of 3 days with very limited overall gain. All others are insignificant.
Fanancial sector JPM+1.01=42.42/BAC+0.39=17.14/GS+2.40=162.33/C+0.35=4.48 went up big to support the SPX. Other sectors such as oil and drug maker were insignicant.
Today is the pre-OE day.
GS is such a company which upgrades GOOG to manipulate the market by upgrading GOOD in such a timing!
