行路莫忘读书, 这是我今年看的不多几本。

今年读的书仍不多，以下是仔细读过的：

1。 Memoirs of a Geisha (艺伎回忆录)
我是在此书流行过后才开始读的，因为想知道这本书为何如此畅销。
刚读过第一页，我也真的被吸引了：那平静的叙述，凄凉的生活，用直白的英语道
来，显得十分逼真。断断续续，4个月里，我把全书一个字母不漏的读完了。掩卷轻
轻一声叹息：女主人公的曲折人生路，何尝不折射出你我的人生路。

感慨中，上amazon.com写了这则书评：

Elusiveness of destiny, April 9 2006:
I read the book over a span of 4 months. I did this partly because of "no
time", but more because I viewed this experience as a long journey following
the tracks of Sayuri's life. And when I was slowly turning the last few
pages, my emotion silently rose like a evening tide. My tears finally overflowed
when I came to these words:"I cannot tell you what it is that guides us in
this life". To me, this sums up the elusiveness of destiny. It is this general
theme that makes the book so touching: every person in some extent would
go through the same journey from Chiyo to Sayuri. Do you really think the
book is only about the story of a geisha?

意犹未尽，又去书店买来一本，邮寄给国内教英语的朋友。又把我手里的一本也寄
给了在国内的老弟。

电影出来，我一眼也没瞄，生怕心目中的人物形像被演员给冲了。再说，我已不需
要电影来理解原作。

2。The Classic Feynman

这本书是两本老书的合集：Surely You Are Joking, Mr Feynman 和 What Do YOU
Care What Other People Think? 讲的物理学奇才费曼自己的故事。前一本的中译
我早在国内读研时就买来看过。这回看原文更精彩。不过，最精彩的还是此书带的
那个光盘：是费曼有一次在一所大学的演讲实录，题目叫做“洛斯阿拉莫斯的基层
岁月”。虽说原文也在书里，但是，这个讲演却比文字精彩不知多少倍！听过这了
录音，那本厚书都可以不看了！
难怪费曼物理讲义很有名，他在Caltech当老师肯定很受欢迎，他的口才太棒了。

3。The Fan Club
这本书说英文名，您可能不熟悉，但它的中文本，就是一九八八年曾经洛阳纸贵的
<<玫瑰梦>>啊。我还记得同研究室的小邢特地借给我，还关照第二天得还，我是熬
夜看完的。至于内容，现在却没有多少印象了。
我今年突然好奇了：这到底是什么书？怎么那么神秘？上网费了很大周折才查清，
此书原来叫The Fan Club，影迷会啊。赶紧从网上买来一本旧的(早不发行了)。

抽空看了几页，就把我逗乐了，敢情这书不是黄书，说的是正经事啊，你瞧这段：

The trouble is that the rich guys got richer -- richer in money and richer
in pussy, they got the cream of the crop -- and the leftovers were for the
rest of the world.

哈哈，这说的当年的美国社会呢，还是几十年后的当今中国社会啊？！

4。 The Da Vinci's Code
这本书就不用多介绍了，看了书也看了电影。
情节不算太好，就是结论太离奇，基督教还是比较宽容的
