Layer 1: Original photo taken by myself this afternoon. For the first scroll roll: Layer 2: (1) Use square brush to draw a straight horizontal  line (2) Gradient overlay in layer property   Multiply   Style = reflected/align with layer   Gradient color = violet   Opacity = 70%   Scale = 100% Duplicate layer 2 as layer 3 (1) Burn two ends of the roll (2) Sponge desaturate to make the two ends smooth (3) Pattern overlay in layer property:    Pattern 2: streaks    Scale = 50%    Multiply    Opacity = 75%    Link with layer (4) Drop shadow in layer property:    Multiply, color = black    Opacity = 50%    Angle = 90, use global light    Distance = 5    Size = 5    Contour = linear    Noise = 0 (5) Use smaller square brush to create two small tips For the second roll: (1) Duplicate lay 3 as layer 4, and move it to the bottom (2) Change drop shadow:    Angle = -90    No global light For background of the scroll painting: Layer 5, the size is a little bit smaller than the length of the mid-roll, grey For the background of the whole file: Layer 6, the size is as long as the whole roll (mid-roll + tips), white
