Therefore, for a long time to come (and the longer Trump is in the White House, the longer this period will last),a significant proportion of Americans will be Trumpified to some extent. Bullying the weak, insatiable greed, and ruthless pursuit of profit will be their hallmarks. When dealing with the American government and the American people, vigilance and caution are essential.
Americas betrayal of its allies and its abandonment of its leadership role in the rules-based and civilized world presents the EU with an excellent opportunity to rise independently, become a leader in the world order, and for the euro to replace the dollar. Unfortunately, the EUs slowness and incompetence have squandered this golden opportunity.
