Its earnings season and the Magnificent 7 arent all equally magnificent anymore.

The biggest fund managers in the world are reshuffling their conviction bets.

We examined global fund ownership trends (20152025) across the Magnificent 7, covering passive and active mutual funds and ETFs, and heres what stood out:

1. Microsoft is the only member to consistently hold 20%+ of total ownership in global equity portfolios for a full decade.

2. Nvidias rise has been explosive, climbing from 1.2% in 2015 to 22% in 2025, now neck-and-neck with Microsoft.

3. Meta staged a comeback, rebounding to 10.6% in 2025 after sliding to 4.9% in 2022 (peak metaverse scepticism).

4. Apple slipped from its long-time 2023% range to 16% in 2025, with geopolitical risk weighing on sentiment and slow AI rollout.

5. Amazon shrank from 15.6% to 12.5%, despite AWS and ads performing well.

6. Alphabet declined from 26% in 2015 to 11.5% in 2025, losing ground as AI leadership shifted elsewhere.

7. Tesla remains the smallest allocation among the Magnificent 7, rising from 1.5% in 2015 to 4.6% in 2025. However, fund managers are watching closely as competition from EV makers like BYD heats up.

???? Who do you think will lead the pack in 2030?

Microsoft, Nvidia, or a name were not even talking about yet?
