美国家庭拥有房子的比例

From Google - The homeownership rate of 65.4 percent was 2.5 percentage points lower than the rate in the second quarter 2020 (67.9 percent) and not statistically different from the rate in the first quarter 2021 (65.6 percent).

查维基得到下图。在2000-2010年间，大约7-8年时间里，美国超过68%家庭拥有房子，之后发生了次贷危机。

从上图可看出1995年之前拥有率少于65%，在1980年代初期，高于65% 的时间只有2-3年。根据Google，现在的拥有率上了65%，而CNBC说（见下link）过去9年里少建了500万栋房子。如果以1亿个家庭为基数，500万是5%，这500万栋房子让无房家庭购买了，美国的房子拥有率则上了70%。即使一半一半，增加2-3%，拥有率也会到68%。
